Flood disaster in Pakistan

PMU InterLife, which is the Relief and Development wing of the Pentecostal Alliance of Independent Churches in Sweden, is responding to the severe flood disaster in Pakistan that has affected about 15 million people. PMU InterLife is cooperating with Full Gospel Assemblies (FGA) which is a partner of PMU InterLife since 40 years.

The partners are currently implementing an urgent relief project in Dado in the Hyderabad district in the Sindh Province. The goal of the operation is to provide 500 families, approximately 3.500 people, with non food items such as hygiene kits and mosquito nets. The target group is provided food and shelter by other actors. FGA is cooperating with the national organisations SEEVA Pak and CWS of Pakistan and coordinating with the local authorities.

PMU InterLife/FGA is ready to channel funds from PEM members for further humanitarian operations due to the flood disaster in Pakistan.

The FGA project leader is Obed Fraz (obed_fraz@yahoo.com).

PMU InterLife's contact person is Lennart Nolvall, phone +46-70-790 43 81, e-mail (lennart.nolvall@pmu.se)
